Bend-Redmond Habitat ReStore will open on Sundays and offer shopping 7 days a week

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) — Bend-Redmond Habitat for Humanity announced Tuesday that its ReStore will now be open 7 days a week, starting this Sunday.

OPENING HOURS from SUNDAY 15 MAY
Store hours 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., 7 days a week
Donations from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., 7 days a week

Cole Smith, Head of ReStore, said: “We are always looking for ways to better serve the community. By opening on Sundays, we hope to offer those with limited time during the week an additional opportunity to shop and make a donation to ReStore. , in turn, helps us achieve our ultimate goal, which is to help provide much-needed affordable housing in our community.”

The ReStore’s expanded opening hours are also creating new volunteer opportunities, and the ReStore is looking for new volunteers. Zachary Cota, Volunteer Coordinator, said, “If you like being part of a family-oriented team where you can give back to the community, then this is the place for you! The store has many positions available for volunteers, including cash register, stocking, working in the donation lane and more. As the largest source of local funding for Bend-Redmond Habitat for Humanity, home improvement outlet ReStore accepts and sells a wide variety of home furnishings, appliances, and building materials. Revenue from ReStore helps cover the administrative expenses of the organization. Bend-Redmond Habitat is currently building 10 townhouses in Redmond on Quince Ave., and 8 townhouses in Bend on 18and Street.
